ecoENERGY Retrofit - Homes Program

The EcoEnergy home-retrofit program had successfully reached its goal of 250,000 registered homeowners. As planned, the program is no longer accepting new registrations. If you are registered, you need to have your new equipment installed by March 31, 2012 to receive your rebate.

The ecoENERGY Retrofit - Homes program provides grants to help homeowners make their homes more energy-efficient and reduce the burden of high energy costs.

Chances are your home is leaking energy. A lot of energy and a lot of money. The Ontario Home Energy Audit Program will pay $150 towards a Home Energy Audit that will find the energy leaks in your home and identify renovations you can make to lower your energy bills. Replace that energy-guzzling old furnace and/or air conditioning and you can qualify for up to $1,040 under the ecoENERGY Retrofit - Homes Program.

The complete program details are available by downloading the ecoENERGY Grant Table.

When you upgrade your furnace or air conditioner you are also eligible for an additional rebate up to $650 under The Ontario Power Authority Heating & Cooling Incentive.
