Ontario Home Energy Retrofit
Program
To help homeowners save energy, money and help reduce greenhouse
gas emissions, the Ontario government has created the Ontario Home
Energy Retrofit Program. The program provides homeowners with
grants of up to $5,000 for home energy improvements.
Ontario reimburses the homeowner based on the
measures undertaken and the rebate amount allowed for each
component.
Chances are your home’s leaking energy. A lot of
energy and a lot of money. The Ontario Home Energy Savings Program
will pay $150 towards a Home Energy Audit that will find your home’s
energy leaks and identify renovations you can make to lower your
energy bills. Replace that energy-guzzling old furnace and/or air
conditioning and you can
qualify for up to $1,040 in Ontario rebates.
The Ontario Home Energy Retrofit
Program may be closed soon. We recommend that if you are
considering new equipment, now is the time to act. Take advantage
of this generous program, along with the
Cool Savings Rebate . Call the experts at Salmon to learn how you can
use government rebates to help pay for new equipment that will
improve home comfort and save you money on your hydro and gas
bills.
